JENNA LESLIE

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

BACHELOR EXERCISE SCIENCE

MASTERS OF CLINICAL EXERCISE SCIENCE AND REHABILITATION

Throughout school I was always interested in science and the human body. It is incredible what it can do!  I was very active when I was younger, playing multiple sports at any given time and had always enjoyed exercise. My dad was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and at the time, Exercise Physiology was a new and emerging field.  After some research, it sounded like exactly what I wanted to do as a career.  Being able to help people by utilising exercise for their ailments was right up my alley, so I decided to pursue exercise physiology. I love how Exercise Physiologists help people long term and improve overall function.  I am particularly interested in mental health and the benefit exercise can have on mood.  I am also interested in Knee and shoulder rehabilitation.

In my free time I enjoy

listening to a true crime podcast, bushwalking and hiking, playing hockey, researching my next overseas holiday and spending quality time with my partner and friends.
